What is a blog?
A blog is a web site that can be update every time you want to. It contains different entries diplayed in chronological order.
In a blog you add commentaries and information about different subjects, it also can be used as online diaries.

In a blog you can combine photos, text, videos, links to other sites, musik....They are useful for anyone because you can publish every thing you want

Biomes

What is a Biome?
"A biome is a large geographical area of distinctive plant and animal groups, which are adapted to that particular environment. The climate and geography of a region determines what type of biome can exist in that region. Major biomes include deserts, forests, grasslands, tundra, and several types of aquatic environments. Each biome consists of many ecosystems whose communities have adapted to the small differences in climate and the environment inside the biome."

In the next video you are going to see the different types of biomes, their location, pictures and a brief explanation of some of them. Enjoy it!

  • Rainforest
There are two types of rainforests -- tropical and temperate. Tropical and temperate rainforests share certain characteristics. For example, most trees flare at the base. Vegetation is dense, tall and very green. Both types of rainforests are rich in plant and animal species, although the diversity is greater in the tropical rainforest. Tropical rainforests are warm and moist; while temperate rainforests are cool.
  • Grassland
Grasslands are found on either side of two desert belts that circle the earth, and it’s found on every continent except Antarctica. About one quarter of the earth's land is in the grasslands.
Tropical grasslands -- those closest to the equator and are hot all year.
Temperate grasslands are farther from the equator and have both hot summers and harsh winters.
  • Aquatic Biomes
There two types of aquatic biome, the marine regions, and the freshwater regions.
Ø The marine regions: are divided between coral reefs, estuaries, and oceans. It has extremely high salt content.
Ø Freshwater Regions: Freshwater is so called because of its extremely low salt content. It exists in various forms such as lakes, rivers, ponds, swamps, or wetlands, and is host to a wide variety of plants and animals.

Commentary and Conclusions
The most importart and largest biomes are the aquatic biomes
Biomes are made by several ecosystems
Biomes are classified depending on their vegatation and different characteristic
The different types of biomes vary depending of every scientist, some of them don't agree on the exact number of biomes.
How are Biomes related to human action and ecological impact?Biomes had been endangered by human actions because they are the one who contaminates the ecosystem by pollution and biomes are made of several ecosystems. Pollution endangered biomes because it affects the development of plants, animals, and other organism that build a biome. Over the past years, the increase of human action had destroyed many habitats; deforestation is good example of a human action. It’s important to preserve all types of biomes, specially the aquatic biomes because water is the most important source for living things, and it’s not possible to regain the destroyed biomes.
